Our head office is in Gulu City. Our programmes reach households across the Acholi sub-region and beyond.
The Acholi sub-region carries the long consequences of the Lord's Resistance Army insurgency — displacement, abduction, and two decades in which health and education systems could not function normally.
BREFON was founded here, by people from here. We work from our Gulu City office out into the districts through community volunteers, Village Health Teams, partner health facilities and district local governments.
