Our method

How we know whether it worked

Monitoring and Evaluation reports directly to the Executive Director rather than through the programme it assesses, so results are not marked by the people producing them.

  • Case files and attendance records for every counselling session, support group and home visit.
  • Baseline and follow-up assessment at intake and at discharge, so change is measured rather than assumed.
  • Cross-checking against partner health facility registers and district local government reports.
  • Community feedback sessions, including from people who left the programme early.
  • Annual reporting to the Board of Directors and the General Assembly.
